What to expect:
The focus will be on:
constructing the head and classical proportions;
the ratio between the facial and cranial sections;
the relationship between the head, neck, and shoulder girdle;
building form through light and shadow;
modeling details using sanguine, sepia, and white chalk.
Materials
Participants will be provided with an A3 copy of the model, the necessary chalks, and paper/board.
The workshop will be both practical and highly informative, so we recommend bringing a notebook or sketchbook for notes.
Because drawing is not just technique.
It is love, observation, patience, and knowledge.
